Lucknow: Member of the state women commission, Priyanka Maurya, received a prank call from unknown individuals requesting her personal details. She has filed a complaint against these anonymous individuals at Krishnanagar police station. The complaint stated that the callers impersonated the personal assistants of the chief minister's principal secretary and Unnao District Magistrate, asking for personal information. Priyanka claimed that the opposition was attempting to damage her reputation through deceitful methods. An investigation has been initiated based on her complaint. Priyanka received the first call on September 9 at her residence in LDA Colony on Kanpur Road from an unidentified number. The caller posed as the DM of Unnao and requested personal information. A similar call was received on September 30, this time posing as the PA of the chief minister's principal secretary and again seeking her personal details, mentioning a forthcoming significant responsibility. Priyanka decided to report the matter to Krishnanagar police station due to its severity. DCP South Zone, Keshav Kumar, confirmed that an FIR has been filed and an investigation is underway.
